Maurine Sanders Beck, 83 of Alpine passed away March 10,
2011 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Fairview to Venna Mae
and John Sanders. She married Max Beck on June 17, 1955
in the Manti Temple. Her greatest love was her family.
She was a faithful member of the LDS Church
with a deep abiding testimony. She served faithfully in
many capacities, served a Mission in Hawaii and was a temple
worker for many years.
She enjoyed quilting, gardening, sewing,
crocheting, cooking, camping, family gatherings, and working
on humanitarian projects.
She will be greatly missed by her children
Linda Halls and Joy (Gene) Bates of Salt Lake, Clista Pennie,
Maxine (Scott) Blackburn, Jeri (Russ) Devitt and Darwin
Beck of Alpine. 22 grandchildren, and 22 ½ great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband,
daughter Shirlyn and great grandson Max.
Our thanks to all those that tenderly helped with her care.
A celebration of her life will be held
Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Mountainville
2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 165 North 100 East, Alpine. A viewing
will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm
at the Warenski Funeral Home 1776 North 900 East, American
Fork, and at the church 9:30 -10:30 am prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Alpine City Cemetery.
