Our
amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Jodi
Lyn Wilson Bray, slipped away from this existence on March
16, 2011 surrounded by her beloved family. Jodi entered
this world on April 5, 1966 full of life and laughter. Jodi
was raised in Alpine, Utah and graduated from American Fork
High School where she was a proud AF Cavette. It was as
this time Jodi embraced the love of her life, Rex Lainaholo
Bray. Jodi married her soul mate May 20, 1989 and they were
blessed with four beautiful children whom she loved and
cherished.
Jodi was full of joy and her bright, caring
personality and contagious laughter helped to make you an
instant friend. Jodi was everyone’s cheerleader, your
biggest fan, always putting others needs before her own.
Jodi dedicated her life to loving and supporting those close
to her. Jodi’s door was always open to those in need
and she truly had a heart without judgment. Jodi’s
tender love touched everyone for good and she celebrated
life through her goodness. Jodi loved music and the inspiring
rhythm of dance and truly is our beautiful, dancing angel.
Jodi is survived by her husband, Rex,
children Jayne (Cynthia), Elle (currently serving in the
Taiwan, Taichung Mission) Claire and Sonny, her parents,
Keith and Teri Wilson of Alpine, UT; mother-in-law Janet
Bray of Buena Park, CA; brothers Jason (Stephanie) Wilson
of Alpine, UT; Justin "Will" (Jodi) Wilson of
Payson, UT; and sister Rebecca Voeller of Payson, UT; and
many in-laws, nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
Jodi was proceeded in death by her sister
Melissa, father-in-law Sonny Bray and Grandparents, Bill
and Connie Fairbanks, and Pose and Ruby Wilson.
A celebration of Jodi’s life will
be held Friday, March 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eastridge
Stake Center Chapel located at 12270 South 1187 East Draper
Parkway, Draper, Utah. Family and friends may call on Thursday
evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Warenski Funeral Home,
1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah and also at an
additional viewing at the church on Friday morning from
9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be next
to her beloved sister Melissa in the Alpine City Cemetery.
