Dale Goodwin of Highland, Alpine, St. George, and American
Fork passed away peacefully on May 13, 2011 in American
Fork, Utah.
He was born on April 28, 1932 to Harland Keesee Goodwin
and Violet Isabelle Gray in Beaver, Utah . He married Alice
Georgiana Bird on August 14, 1953. They were sealed in the
Manti LDS Temple on Feb 23, 1954.
He is survived by his wife Alice and children, Vonda (Scott)
Proctor, Rene' (Phillip) Hall, Carolyn (Gary) Morgan, Laurie
(Karl) Brady, David (Angie) Goodwin, Colleen (Karl ) Connolly,
Shellie (Rick) Sovereign, Gary (Holly) Goodwin, Paul (Noelle)
Goodwin, 158 grand and great-grandchildren, and his brother
Robert (Ann) Goodwin. He was preceded in death by his parents,
his granddaughters Allison Brady and Violet Goodwin, and
over 370,000 identified ancestors and their family members.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011 at
11:00 am in the Strasburg LDS Chapel located at 10400 North
6000 West in Highland, Utah. A viewing will be held on Thursday
evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Warenski Funeral home 1776
North 900 East in American Fork. And an additional viewing
on Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services at
the church. Interment, Highland City Cemetery.
