Dale
Clarence Pack, age 66 of Alpine passed away August 31, 2011.
He was born August 16, 1945 in American Fork, Utah to Ellen
Amelia Dunsdon and Carl Alford Pack. Dale married JoAnn
Pinkerton on February 19, 1965. Their marriage was later
solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Dale graduated from American Fork High School in 1963.
He worked for Hale's Flooring, Pinkerton Meats, Kennecott
Copper, and retired from Utah Power and Light in 2002. He
was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints. He served many years as a stake and ward librarian.
His greatest love was his wife and family. He loved working
with his registered quarter horses and spending time with
his brother-in-law racing them at Cutter Races. He enjoyed
working on the family farm in Alpine. He loved camping and
going on vacations and cruises with his wife, family and
friends.
He is survived by his wife and children, Bobbi Ann (Kevin)
Davis, Highland; Brett Dale (Amberly) Pack, Herriman; Ryan
Carl (Kelly) Pack, American Fork and 12 grandchildren. His
siblings Carl (LaRue) Pack, Wayne (Judy) Pack, Lois (David)
Cottle, Leona (Steven) Walker, Vaughn (LaRie) Pack, Marvin
(Cindy) Pack, Larraine (Randy) Maag, and many nieces and
nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his
brother Calvin.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011
at 11:00 a.m. in the Alpine Cove LDS Ward Chapel located
at 1125 East Alpine Boulevard, Alpine, Utah. Family and
friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
at the Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North 900 East, American
Fork, Utah and also at an additional viewing at the church
on Wednesday morning from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
Interment will be in the American Fork City Cemetery.
