Marion
Clifton Painter, our beloved husband, father, grandfather,
brother and friend passed away from Cancer on Saturday,
January 29, 2011, in American Fork, Utah, surrounded by
his family.
He was born on February 5, 1941, in Santaquin,
Utah, to Clifton Thomas Painter and Una Mae Hopes. He attended
school in Payson and graduated from Payson High School.
He served his country in the United States Air Force.
He married Lynnor Daniels on June 7, 1976,
in Driggs Idaho and they have enjoyed many wonderful years
together.
He worked for The Utah State Prison, where
he retired after 20 years. He was a Scout Master for many
years and had a passion for camping and the great outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lynnor;
and his children: Steven Painter, Saint George, UT; DeAnne
Perkins (Dean), Eagle Mountain, UT; Clifton Painter (Alexie)
Kanab, UT; Thomas Painter (Tammy), Heber, UT; Michael Painter,
Salt Lake City, UT; and Terry Painter (Lori), Provo, UT.
He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren; three sisters: Una
Jean, Gloria and Sheila. He was preceded in death by his
parents and a grandson, Brayden Michael Perkins.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday,
February 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the American Fork 29th
Ward Chapel, 673 East 300 North, American Fork, Utah. The
family will hold a viewing Wednesday morning from 10:00
to 11:00 am prior to the services at the American Fork 29th
Ward Chapel. Funeral Directors - Warenski Funeral Home of
