Albert
John Perucca, 74, of Provo Utah passed away on Tuesday,
January 10, 2012. Al was born on July 11, 1937 in Ely, Nevada
to Nicholas James Perucca and Virginia Austad. He married
Kathryn Ann Knudson on January 11, 1957 in Denver Colorado.
Their marriage was later solemnized in the Cardston Alberta
LDS Temple. He lived in Great Falls, Montana for over 40
years before moving to Provo, Utah.
Some of Al’s greatest passions were fishing, chess,
and flying his own plane. He especially enjoyed these passions
when sharing them with his uncle Grover Austad. He loved
visiting with his children and had a special love for his
grandchildren.
Al is survived by his wife Kathryn; seven children: Steve
(Nancy), Sharol (Jim – deceased), Ken (Carrie), Janice
(J.W.), Dave, LuAnne (Howard), and Curtis (Lisa); siblings:
Jim (Donna), Jerry (Joanne), and Barbara (Steve); 23 grandchildren;
and 8 great-grandchildren.
Al grew up in Ogden, Utah and attended schools there. He
spent four years in the Air Force, 14 years working for
IBM, and over 30 years being a small business owner.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 16, 2012
at 11:00 am in the American Fork7thWard Chapel, 688 West
500 North, American Fork, Utah. Family and friends may attend
a viewing at the church Monday from 9:30 to10:30 am. Interment
will be in the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park.
