Amy Suzanne Garrett Schmuhl

Suzanne passed from the arms of her beloved husband and children into the arms of her beloved mother and father on July 31, 2012.

A cherished daughter of Amy E. Buchanan and Dean R. Garrett, Sr., Suzanne was born August 26, 1944 in American Fork, Utah, into a strong family including siblings Lewis (Shirley, deceased) Garrett; Gordon, deceased (Claranne Duke) Garrett; Dean Jr. (Charlotte) Garrett; Julie (Greg) Wittwer; and Barbara (Kent) Richards.

Suzanne began her greatest work by marrying her sweetheart Albert Posnien Schmuhl, Jr. on December 27, 1968 in the Salt Lake Temple. Her greatest treasures and pride are her children: Scott (Lisa) Schmuhl, Janette (Trent) Swain, Michael (Jenny) Schmuhl, Benjamin (Rachel) Schmuhl, Jonathan (Alyson) Schmuhl, and 24 (and counting) grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:00 am at the American Fork 30th LDS Ward Chapel, located at 261 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Warenski Funeral Home 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah and also Saturday morning from 9:00-9:45 am prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the American Fork City Cemetery.
