Harold George Sellers Jr.
"J.R."

Harold George Sellers Jr., better known as JR, valiantly completed his earthly mission on November 17, 2011. He passed peacefully after a long life with physical challenges and suffering which he bore with incredible patience, strength, and dignity.

JR was born in Sacramento, California on December 21, 1946 to Harold and Millie Sellers. Brother of Janeen, Merrill, Bethanie, Renee, and Glen. Served an LDS mission in Southern Germany from 1966-1968. Married his eternal sweetheart; Patti Jensen June 7, 1969 in the Oakland, California Temple.

He served in the army during the Vietnam era, graduated from BYU, and worked as a medical technologist.

He is survived by his parents, siblings, wife, and children; Aaron (Jessica), Ryan (Heather), Lisa Bringhurst (Jared), Laura Kinser (Robert), Randy (Darcy), Jen, Jeffrey (Lauren), and Millie. Also survived by 17 grandchildren. Proceeded in death by his grandparents; Fenton and Gwen Williams and Hortan and and Edith Sellers.

His wife would like to thank Sunrise Home Healthcare aides and nurses, especially Peter who served with devotion until the very end.

A celebration of J.R.’s life will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Cedar Hills West Stake Center Chapel located at 4580 West Cedar Hills Drive, Cedar Hills, Utah. Family and friends may call Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Warenski Funeral Home 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah and also Monday morning from 10:00-10:45 am prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Highland City Cemetery. Condolences
