Aaron Bruce Bartlett
1987 ~ 2025
Aaron Bruce Bartlett, born May 8, 1987 to Bruce and Rea Bartlett (Christiansen) returned to the arms of a loving Heavenly Father way too early on March 19, 2025. Aaron faced the challenges of addiction from a young age, but at age 30, he made the courageous decision to pursue sobriety. He embraced recovery with determination, knowing the road would be difficult, yet always choosing to keep moving forward. Though he experienced setbacks, he never let them define him, and he remained committed to building a better life. His strength, resilience, and unwavering hope were an inspiration to all who knew him. Aaron did not lose his battle with addiction—he faced it head-on and made the conscious decisions every day to triumph beautifully! He will be remembered for his kind heart, his perseverance, and the love he shared with those around him.
Beyond his struggles, Aaron lived life with passion and purpose. He had a deep love for the outdoors, finding peace in nature’s beauty. Whether hiking through the mountains, exploring new trails, or simply taking in the quiet of the wilderness, he felt most at home under an open sky. His adventurous spirit and appreciation for the wonders of nature were a constant source of joy.
He carried that same passion into his work, excelling as a welder. His dedication and skill made him stand out, and his strong work ethic earned him the respect of everyone that worked with him. His employers always admired him—not just for his craftsmanship, but also for his sharp mind, his willingness and ability to learn quickly and the determination he brought to every task.
Aaron also had a great capacity to love. He loved fiercely, never holding back when it came to the people he cared about. His loyalty and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a natural talent for music, even with only a short time in lessons. No matter how many years had passed, every time he visited Mom’s house, he would sit down and play his recital piece flawlessly, as if no time had passed.
Despite life’s hardships, Aaron never stopped seeking joy. He had an uncanny ability to find light in the darkest moments, to laugh even when life was cruel, and to remind others to appreciate the little things. His presence was a gift, his strength an inspiration, and his love a force that will continue to be felt by those who knew him.
While our hearts ache in his absence, we take comfort in knowing he has now found his peace. Thank you Aaron for all the years you held on and stayed in our lives. We are forever grateful for the gift you have been to each of us.
A graveside service will be held Friday March 28, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Followed by a luncheon and Celebration of Life held at the church located at 500 North 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Please feel welcome to join us!
