Sunday, October 24, 2021, Caleb Eli Banta, son of Kevin and Pamela Banta, passed away peacefully in Murray, Utah, surrounded by family. Born August 21, 2003 in Provo, Utah, Caleb joined the Banta family on December 3, 2009. Caleb was an intelligent young man with a big heart. He graduated from high school in May 2021. He was an energetic youth who enjoyed football, basketball, skateboarding and video games.
He is survived by his father, Kevin Banta and mother Pamela Lowther Banta, sisters: Nattely Rasmusen (Ben), Janae Gines (Levi), Devon Myslinski (Sean), Chantell Vermeulen (Bryce), Ashlyn Banta, Rachel Banta and Rebekkah Banta, brothers: Zachary Banta (Jenna), Michael Banta (Lianna) and Jared Banta (Kristin), 14 nieces and nephews, grandfather Stanley Roy Banta and grandmother Saundra Lowther Hall. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Dennis Lowther, grandmother Bonita Lee Allen Banta, and brother Ammon.
We express our gratitude to the many people in Calebs life that were in positions to help, mentor, parent, teach and love Caleb. Caleb is loved and missed greatly by all those with whom he touched in his short life. We are grateful he will find peace at last.
