Darren W Curtis

Sunday, January 31st, 2021 we had to say goodbye, too soon, to Darren Wyman Curtis; loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Darren was born on March 30th, 1966 in SLC, UT to John Richard & Sandra Rose Curtis. Darren had two brothers, Richard William (Cherie) and Jayson Gill (Tami), and one sister, Shelley Ann (Shane). Darren grew up in a close-knit neighborhood where he enjoyed wonderful friendships. He had a love for baseball starting at an early age which endured through the years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan throughout his life.

Darren was a dedicated & hard-working employee atKennecott for 25 years. He garnered a broad range of experience in mining operations, having worked in various areas of the copper mine.

On November 4th, 2000 Darren married the love of his life, his “bride,” Rowyn Bronte Curtis. Together they raised six beautifulchildren; five daughters: Kirstie (Matthew), Tosha Nicole (Robert), Michaella Dawn (Jordan), Grace Audra, & Daryn Nerys and their one son: Jake Darren.

Darren was an amazing father who was activelyinvolved witheach of his children and their lives. He was “Papa” to Paisley Skye, Elena Rose, Cambree Kay, & Jaycie Donna. They loved and looked up to their gentle giant of a Papa.

Darren will be remembered for his selflessness, quick wit, sense of humor, & unwaveringloyalty to those he loved.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah.
