Gary Lee Cardon, aged 72, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, at American Fork Hospital after bravely facing numerous health challenges.

Born on March 20th, 1951, in Lehi, UT, to parents Jesse and Allie Cardon, Gary was the youngest of nine siblings: Ken, Arnie, Colleen, Jess, Mae, Margo, Lois, and Dolores. He married CarolAnn, and they spent most of their lives together in American Fork. Their children and stepchildren include, Justin, Monty, Tammy, Tisha, and Jesse, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Gary attended Provo Technical College and was known for his passion for basketball. Gary had an unwavering love for sports and enjoyed sharing his conviction that his teams were the best. He was an avid fan of Westerns and classic movies, and he had a deep appreciation for 60’s music, with a particular fondness for The Beatles.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the American Fork Emergency Services and the staff at American Fork Hospital for their exceptional care and support during this challenging period.

A viewing in memory of Gary will be held at Warenski Funeral Home, located at 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. Following the viewing, a graveside service will take place at the American Fork Cemetery, located at 600 North Center Street, American Fork, Utah at 11:00 am.
