Karen Marie Harr, age 78, passed away on October 10, 2022. Native of Ely, NV, and resident in Cedar Hills for the past 17 years, moving from Brentwood, CA.

Karen was a housewife, Weight Watcher leader and served in several capacities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Preceded in death by her first husband, Jarrall C. La Giusa (2003); and her son, Johnny (1968).

Survived by her husband, John P. Harr, Sr. of Cedar Hills. Children, Theresa La Giusa (Jacki) of Saugus, CA, Christopher La Giusa of Grass Valley, CA, and Craig La Giusa (Heather) of Dayton, NV. Grandchildren, Kassandra, Jered, Parker, Jordan, Justin, Chancel, Xavier and Lydia. Brother, Craig Elmer and sister, Laurie Archuleta and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Karen will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Cedar Hills 1st Ward Chapel, located at 4355 West Cedar Hills Drive, Cedar Hills, Utah 84062. Family and friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Los Gatos Memorial Park in San Jose, California at a later date.
