With great sadness, the family of Young Soon Pak Lee announces her passing. Young Soon passed away in Cedar Hills, Utah, on November 3, 2022, at the age of 81.

Young Soon Pak () was born on December 10, 1940, in Namhae, Korea, to her father, Pak Jun Suk (), and her mother, Ko Bok Ah (). She grew up in Korea and immigrated to the United States in early adulthood. Young Soon married Warren C. Lee, Jr., on October 16, 1969 in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. She became a United States citizen in Honolulu, Hawaii, on April 14, 1971. Young Soon enjoyed a lifetime of homemaking. She raised her son, Gene Pak Lee, and, later in life, took care of her grandchildren. Young Soon traveled extensively, moving every few years for her husbands work as a communications specialist in the civil service. Together, they lived in Korea, Alaska, Germany, Greece, Alabama, Italy, Arizona, and Utah. They also took time to travel for leisure. Young Soon spent many years in Tucson, Arizona, after her husbands retirement in 1993. Young Soon loved cooking, gardening, sewing, reading, and studying Korean history. Her most notable trait was her service to others. Young Soon enjoyed taking care of her family and friends. She had a caring heart and a strong work ethic. She was very proud of her heritage and ancestors and her descendants.

She will be remembered by her children, Gene (Wendy) Lee and Angela (Lynn) Claburn; grandchildren, Justin (Jamie) Camper, Rebekah (Nick) Edman, Olivia James, Owen James, and Ryenna Lee; and great-grandchildren Lexi Adkins, Jaiden Camper, Jaylee Camper, and Lena Edman. Young Soon was preceded in death by her husband, Warren C. Lee, Jr., and her parents. Young Soon was the oldest of seven siblings: Young Ho Pak, Young Su Pak, Young Hee Pak, Young Ok Pak, Young Han Pak, and Soon Deuk Pak. She will be lovingly missed by all those that knew her.

Young Soon will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park in Bluffdale, Utah.
